Upper Moreland Primary School Envirothon
Second grade students will learn fundamentals of forestry, aquatics, soils, and natural resource management. We will have station areas where the students can rotate through each twenty minutes. The Envirothon celebrates our local environment and allows the children to first hand experience the world in which they live in. Throughout this day, students will develop an understanding of local environmental issues. By using stations, the second grade students will gain knowledge of and appreciation for the cause and effect relationships that exist among environmental factors. Our intent is to create environmentally aware students who contribute meaningfully to discussions and decisions that affect their generation and ones to follow.
